The Oley Valley has a rich history of small, local businesses, many of which were hotels where travelers would spend the night. Many of these old wooden and painted business signs can still be seen in museums today. While they may not have been as flashy as modern storefront signs, they stood the test of time and attracted customers for decades. After seeing too many local businesses opt for flat, large-scale vinyl signs that are designed to last only a few years, we knew we could bring beauty and durability back to signage.
